Side effects of antibiotics: Oral moniliasis

In: Articles

Oral moniliasis occurs during the course of antibiotics, because these medical drugs may kill bad bacteria together with the normal flora of the organism, including a mouth. A patient can easily notice an oral moniliasis by white patches appearing on the tongue, cheeks and gums.

Such patches also appear under the lips. Acidophilus taking in the course of antibiotics will prevent you from this health problem.
