In the result of antibiotic usage intertrigo can occur. Two main intertrigo types happen in this situation:

- Fungal intertrigo. It can occur in the result of flora disorder in the intestines.

- Contact intertrigo. It can occur in the result of loose stools.

The problem of intertrigo can be avoided during the course of antibiotics, if a patient uses one of the following methods:

- Acidophilus taking;

- Application of a barrier cream around the anus.

In case your intertrigo symptoms are rather severe, it is necessary to stop using antibiotics immediately and to consult a doctor.

Side effects of antibiotics: Body rashes

People with different allergic reactions should be very careful while taking antibiotics, As they can get different body rashes, such as allergic rashes, appearing in the result of taking antibiotic.

There are several forms of such rushes:

• Red rashes of lacy type, appearing in any area of the body;
• Hives, appearing just for some time and then disappearing and popping up in another area of the body. Usually such hives are itching;
• Pinpoint bumps, which can be white or red. They appear in any body area;
• Allergic rashes, which can appear in the result of other medicine usage;
• Other rashes, appearing due to viral illnesses.
